Photonics Industries is a global leader in pulsed laser technology, a reputation earned through over 15 years of expertise in developing and refining picosecond laser features, performance, and reliability. Having delivered thousands of RX series lasers worldwide, they are proven to address complex challenges and meet the precision needs of manufacturing and research.
The standard RX Series offers high power configurations across its available wavelengths: Infrared (1064 nm), Green (532 nm), and Ultraviolet (355 nm). Standard high-power RX models can achieve up to 250 W in IR and up to 175 W in Green. Maximum single pulse energies in the standard RX models can reach up to 500 µJ (IR @ 300 kHz).
A defining element of the RX platform is the Flex-Pulse™ Suite, designed to provide system integrators and OEM applications with total pulse control for precision microprocessing. This suite includes PEC (Power or Pulse Energy Control), which adjusts and stabilises the overall energy output for consistent results.
PSO (Position Synchronized Output) synchronises laser pulses with motion systems (such as stages or scanners) to ensure stable processing at any speed, effectively eliminating thermal damage at corners and edges by preventing pulse overlap or missed spots. The POD (Pulse-On-Demand) feature allows for single pulses or bursts to be triggered externally or internally while maintaining high pulse energy.

The RX Series excels in a diverse range of demanding applications, including semiconductor processing, thin film removal and processing, solar cell manufacturing, micromachining, medical device manufacturing, and transparent material processing (such as sapphire and glass cutting). For integration flexibility where water cooling is not feasible, the RX AC Series provides a compact, robust, fully air-cooled solution that still delivers high single pulse energy (up to ~50 µJ IR @ 100 kHz) while maintaining a true TEM00 output.
